
Iteration 2
In the second iteration, the idea is still exploring a space that intrigue and encourage communal activities. But instead of using the structure and the micro-infrastructure around it, I turned to centralize a space that gathers various circulations, realized by the converging curvilinear ground surfaces.

In the second iteration, continuing from my exploration on twisting geometry, my main consideration is to rationalize the twisting input geometry by contouring them out, and by using the same process of scaling and rotating to explore variety in space. The main controlling parameters includes the angle twisting, thickness of contouring and the scaling and rotating of the individual geometries.
Compared to subtractive process, additive is easier to manage for optimal outcomes. The area for boolean intersection is focused on the converging area between the various geometries, and thus identifying the oppotunities of creating a space for communal activities, where circulation directed by the sloping surfaces intersect. In addition, the idea of in - between space created by the gap between the twisting geometry came in when exploring the possibility of structures combined by the various geometries
Key Iterations

Key Iteration 1
In the first key iteration, I was quite satisfied with the two separate private zones extracted by the twisting geometries that eliminates spatial connections between the two areas. However, I also want to change the clear division in iteration 1 and explore open and connected spaces that not only encourage gathering but also promotes circulation.

Key Iteration 2
I first tried to increase the slenderness of the boxes and decrease twisting intensity to open up in between spaces. The outcome becomes more optimal after flipping the model for 90 degree, the slope manifests a tendency to concentrate circulations from different directions using the difference is contour direction and sloping angles.

Final Iteration
To make the out come more adaptable, I rotated the 50 x 50 x 50 cube for 46 degree so that the additve process captures the flatness of the edge, but still maintains the same convergence of multiple surfaces.
The outcome is an amiguous space of convergence, especially the one in between the two main twisting blocks.The reason why it is amguous is that although the surface nature encourages the convergence of three differenct circulations, the shaded area, providing certain degress of privacy, makes it less like a public open space for communal activity, but instead provides more flexibility of definitions.
