
Iteration 3
In my third iteration, I continued from the idea of creating convergence among twisting surfaces inside an in - between space to enable medium to large scale socail activities. Obtaining higher degree of control over the twisting configuration is another main ambition. I found
The Scritpt


I constructed twisting line and arrayed geometries along the twisting axes, so that I can directly control the amount of openness between the two arrays of geometries. Parameters being controlled includes the twisting radius, twisting anges, point attractor scaling factors, point attractor rotation as well as the twisting of the individual geometries
In the last iteration, I took the idea of the in between space form the last iteration, and try to maximise that into a grand communal area, while the other parts of the twisting geometry intertwine with each other to provide privacy.

Key Iterations

Key Iteration 1
Initial key iterations mainly explore the gradual transitions provided by sloping and twsiting. The reason I included this ones, is that it informed my of the oppotunities of slitting up the clused twisting blocks to the extend that can hold communal activities

Key Iteration 2
The second key iteration managed to achieve the combination of in-between communal space and the gradual transition of privacy from the first key iteration, with only two sloping surfaces organized in the configuration on the left hand side, which informs me of the eye patterns to following when trying to create richness in spatial experiences using limited resources.
Final Iteration

The final out come is extracted by a set of two perpendicular twisting array of twisting geometry, incorporating the nature discussed above. When considered in elevation, the configuration of the model follows the same eye pattern, that helps open up communal semi-interior space in between and a gradual transition zone of privacy at the intersecting corner.
The model achieve that combination of spatial quality on both elevation. however, the experience is different. While one elevation appears to be more opened, the other one acts like a shelter for communal socializing. the Arc-shape elevation adds to the concentric quality, and the contouring platform intensify the difference in hierarchy of the in-between space.
